It is very easy to get your Pinnacle remote working with DVBViewer, with the original remote program of Pinnacle.

1- You need the original remote prog installed. (It is done with the installation of Pinnacle Mediacenter).

• 2- Download and Unzip the attached file and Copy "DVBViewerPinnacle.remote" in your: DVBViewer\remotes folder. Settings > option > Inputs > "load" (this file).
  3- Find your ...\Pinnacle\Sharedfiles\Programs\remote folder. Save your original Profiles.ini file under an other name (ex: profilesOriginal.ini), and copy this "profiles.ini" in the folder.
  4- Enjoy.

• 2- Localize the folder Pinnacle\Sharedfiles\Programs\remote.
  You will find a file nammed: profiles.ini.
  3- Make a security backup of this file (ex: profilesOriginal.ini).
  4 -Open the profiles.ini in a text editor. (It is plain text). It looks like

  5 - If you wishe DVBViewer to start with your remote, Replace:

  by:
  key38=EXEC \Your_DVBViewer_installation_folder_Path\dvbviewer.exe
  
  and (or, according of your remote's type):
  key1006=EXEC J:\PROGRA~1\Pinnacle\MEDIAC~1\PMC.exe| -10ft -full
  by:
  key1006=EXEC \Your_DVBViewer_installation_folder_Path\dvbviewer.exe
  
  6- At the end of the file, add:
  
  [DVB Viewer Skin]
  or, if you don't use skin:
  [DVB Viewer]
  
  copy everything which is under:

  or ( and, if you dont know if your remote is A or B )
  
  ;***************

  (No need to copy the:
  ;****************************

  7- At the end of the file, create a new entry:
  
  [Options]
  
  and copy the same that you done under [DVB Viewer Skin].
  
  Now, your file look like:

  9- Open Settings/options/Input, and map the fonctions you want with the learn function.
