Dandelion programming

How to prepare the camera to program the Dandelion

• Power on the camera.
• Set the mode Dial to A.
• Set MF mode.
• Set Fn button in "live Preview" mode, or use Preview button in E-1 / E-3.

How to enter the dandelion into a programming mode

• 1- Press and release the Lens release button.
• 2- Less than one second later, press the preview button, keep-it pressed for more than 3 seconds then release-it.
• 3- Release the Preview button.

How to change Focal length in the Dandelion.

• 1- Make sure the Fn button is programmed in your APN for "live preview".
  
• 2- Enter in programming mode.
• 3- Set F:8 with the control dial to tell the Dandelion to program the focal length, then validate with the Fn button (press and release) . Wait the back screen to return to menus.
• 4- The focal has to be entered like: 00035 for 35mm, 00125 for a 125mm, 01000 for a 1000mm. (Five digits begining by 0 and finishing by your focal length)
  Use the correlation table next line. To simplifies your job, write the apertures's sequence on a paper.
  
  F4.0: 0 | F4.5: 1 | F5.0: 2 | F5.6: 3 | F6.3: 4 | F7.1: 5 | F8.0: 6  | F 9.0: 7 | F10: 8 | F11: 9
  After each aperture has been chosen with the control dial, validate the value it with Fn button (press, release and wait).
  For a 35mm,   it will be: | F:4.0 | Fn | F:4.0 | Fn | F:4.0 | Fn | F:5.6 | Fn | F:7.1 | Fn |.
  For a 125mm, it will be: | F:4.0 | Fn | F:4.0 | Fn | F:4.5 | Fn | F:5.0 | Fn | F:5.6 | Fn |
• 5- Then, to flash the chip, press and release the "lens release" button and wait five seconds.

How to change Aperture in the Dandelion.

• 1- Make sure the Fn button is programmed in your APN for "live preview".
• 2- Enter in programming mode.
• 3- Set F:5.6 with the control dial to tell the Dandelion to program the Aperture, then validate with the Fn button (press and release) . Wait the back screen to return to menus.
• 4- Aperture can be programmed between f:0,1 to 9,9. with two digits. First is before coma, second, after. Enter 0 after comma if necessary (F:2 = 2,0). Use the correlation table next line.

• 5- Enter the fist digit (aperture corresponding value) then FN (press and release) and wait back screen to return in "infos" state).
• 6- Enter the second digit (aperture corresponding value)then FN (press and release) and wait back screen to return in "infos" state).
  For an aperture of F:1.8, it will be: | F:4.5 | Fn | F:8.0 | Fn |
  For an aperture of F:3.5, it will be: | F:5.6 | Fn | F:7.1 | Fn |
• 7- To flash the chip, press and release the "lens release" button and wait five seconds.
